Welcome to the World

Ever wanted to travel the world but haven't got the time? Well now you can (virtually). As a travelling zoologist I get to places many people have never seen. And now thanks to my 360 camera you can experience some of these locations too.

How I Capture the World

If you are interested in how I capture my images and want to try it yourself its pretty easy. All you need is a 360 camera and a computer although I do at times use my cell phone depending on the situation.
I use the LG360 camera (LG360). The advantages of having a dedicated 360 camera is it captures the whole image instantly meaning you can capture moving scenes without issues. However it is lower image resolution. So for scenic images I switch to my smart phone.
I use the motorola moto g4 plus (Motorola Moto G4 Plus ). This phone has a good camera and dual unlocked sim slots (great for travel). It also has a large high resolution screen which allows me to put it into a 360 headset and view images in the field. I use the google cardboard app so dont get full 360 images (up and down are missing) but do get 3d images from this and sound. I will at some point add a guide in using this app.
There is very little work using these methods. At some point I hope to be able to capture high resolution with my SLR or be able to afford a 4k 360 camera.

Below are links to the products I use on amazon (i get a small cut from these links)
